La montagna a chi la ama, senza limitazioni

Alcuni giorni fa, alcuni esponenti del Governo italiano, hanno accusato genericamente tutti tutti i frequantatori della montagna tacciandoli come irresponsabili e provocatori di slavine. Si ventila altresì l'ipotesi di un aggravamento di pena per chi dovesse provocare una valanga, e sanzioni pecuniarie (fino a 5000 euro) per chi si trovasse a praticare la propria attività alpinistiva (con particolare riferimento allo sci alpinismo) quando il bollettino valanghe segnalasse la non idoneità delle condizioni della neve.

In seguito il Presidente Generale del Cai, lunedì 8 febbraio, ha redatto un comunicato ribadendo anzitutto la libertà di accesso alla montagna, unita però all'importanza che va attribuita alla protezione del patrimonio naturale e culturale che costituisce la montagna.

Ho personalmente imparato settimana scorsa da un amico che l'accettazione del rischio è parte integrante dell'andare in montagna, che non vi è montagna pura senza rischio.

Fondamentale è però la corretta valutazione delle proprie capacità e delle condizioni ambientali, variabili estremamente mutevoli in un anbiente tanto bello quanto a volte ostile all'individuo umano.

Few days ago, some members of Italian government, have accused generally all people who frequent the mountain notches as irresponsible provocateurs of avalanches. It also airs the possibility of an aggravation of punishment for those who were to lead to an avalanche, and fines (up to 5000 euros) for those who come to practice their mountaineering activities (with particular reference to the alpine skiing) when the avalanche report signaled the unsuitability of the snow conditions.

Following the general president of CAI, Monday February 8, drafted a statement reiterating the first free access to the mountain, though linked to the importance to be attached to the protection of natural and cultural heritage which forms the mountain.

I have personally learned last week from a friend of mine that the acceptance of risk is an integral part of going to the mountains, there is no pure mountain without risk.
But the key is proper assessment of their capabilities and environmental conditions, changing variables in a very special romantic as beautiful as it is sometimes hostile to the individual human being.
